i don't think i've ever been this vehemently proud of being chinese. its what being in a international school does to you. there are all these different races in school and i mean hell, you've got to be proud of what you are. its just disgusts me when i see chinese that are ang moh clones. maybe that's the way they grew up, but i can't see them as anything other than pseudo wannabes. it repulsive sometimes.
i've never really had a problem with the chinese language. i've got my mum to thank for that. i started chinese tuition at k2 and chinese drama class before that. all i remember are vague chinese rao kou lings. you know the kind where theres somebody claping a castinette to a beat?
and another thing. i happened upon this blog where there was some major singapore blasting by, of all things, a singaporean. i'm not singaporean but i love this place man. yes, lee kuan yew would be very proud. i'm proud to be malaysian too but i've just never lived there. and no, i don't speak malay. at least not fluently.
i hate being in an international school.
it makes you think too much.
