Sunrise, sunrise
Looks like morning in your eyes
But the clock's held 9:15 for hours
Sunrise, sunrise
Couldn't tempt us if it tried
'Cause the afternoon's already come and gone
Surprise, surprise
Couldn't find it in your eyes
But I'm sure it's written all over my face
Surprise, surprise
Never something I could hide
When I see we made it through another day
And now the night
Will throw its cover down
mmmmm, on me again
Ooooh, and if I'm right
It's the only way to bring me back sitting in an airplane packed with people to the rivets is no fun, no fun at all. the only thing that could make it worse is 3 babies who seem to bawl like it was the only way their puny lungs could get any air. one particular father was tryin to appease the crowd sitting around him by apologising with an american accent, with all his grammar and tenses wrong. the horror. i think there is something human about changing the way you talk when you're around different groups of people. in fact i think its perfectly natural but slanging ON TOP OF wrong sentence structure is pathetic. i wasn't the only one cringing.
