those crazy cosy lazy days, may they never end and if they do let us toast to patience, insanity and perversion. we'll sleep till afternoon and stay up till dawn. collectively bemoan the shortness of days and hail the endless nights. let us not forget when reality takes its toll, walking arm in arm with time across the black bleary patented sky. killing time with toothpicks from a lychee martini. stab once, twice, three times. then watch, as it oozes distorted visions in our minds. different ways of remembering. like the different facets of crystals hung out in the night, winking, blinking. stars, star light star bright but we have forgotten they guide us.
let us not forget the people for people are special. a person in the masses can make all the difference but the multitude spawns something much greater than people put together. so much more then the size of numbers. collectively they form culture and we believe wholeheartedly in its essence and in its truth, even if truth perverses. we believe and it is everything. because we believe, our paradigms mold us and our friends. they shape what we become. selfish, psychotic, shy. we accept friends for who they are, they accept us for who we are and maybe one day we'll accept ourselves for what we might become.
so lets enjoy this moment when we can still look forward. smile, swear and sneak out while we can before freedom and distance takes over and sneaking would become obsolete and getting out would mean nothing, nothing at all.

she walks along the uneven concrete pavement. it is just before dawn when the night is silent save for the humming of old airconditioner vents on metal paraphets by the dingy walk up apartments with their dust and mud caked staircases. she sidesteps the cracks and navigates the irregular undulation. no one would catch her if she fell but she wouldn't. if she didn't she did the air would coagulate around her like many thin strands of spider silk and she would stay there aware, unflinching, not frozen but stuck.
