there exists a place in my imagination. it is a place where hypothetical arguments are played out in vigor and melodramatic splendor. much tears, acidic words and the blundering convex ploughing of hurt ringing in the deep empty blackness of a calloused heart. it is a place of pain. it is a place of premeditated phone conversations, of fantasy fledged situations begging to crash upon the shore of reality. the place is set on a backdrop of nothing. there is a beach at the edge of my conciousness.
in a grain of sand, i see a world. beach, sand and an infinity of worlds. the blinding white beaches with their sea foam lace and deep ocean skirts. white noise. worlds that people have forgotten, where nobody thinks about even on lazy crazy days, tripping retrospectively. white out, forgotten, alone, lost.
forgotten worlds and the people who forget them. i'm sorry. i didn't mean to let you forget me. its okay, really. its not okay. it just shows how much i meant to you. you didn't even try to find me. i was lost. no really, life's been good. its different but nothing you can't get used to right? people change, situations change. you change, adapt, grow up. you know what they say, evolve or die. sometimes i miss it so much it hurts at the very core of my being. we're all at the brink of change. i stand at the edge and try to get a grip as vertigo sets in.
i'm sorry i didn't mean to forget you
child, why do you smile?
eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. eternal sunshine. spotless mind.
i miss you. i'm scared. i'll miss you, i'm scared
there are places in my head filled with sand. there are places in my heart i'm afraid to go.
